Welcome to my site. That's a fun little photo of me and husband above, on our wedding day at St Francis Winery Resort (Reynella, SA) in April 2019.

I love to capture authenticity with my camera - you, your family, your pets being in the moment and truly you! I'm always excited to capture this authenticity and tell your story whether it's outdoors for portraiture, or at your Wedding or a special occasion/event.

About me: I was born on the Fleurieu Peninsula SA, from 3 years old grew up in Tasmania, came back to SA from teens onward, lived a short while in Perth and I've travelled Australia! My life experiences are varied!

 

Some of my memorable life moments: I was best friend to an exchange student from Japan and learnt a bit about the culture. I spent my childhood camping and fossicking for gemstones with my Father in the north east rainforest country (skipping a lot of primary school), and relic-hunting plus gold nugget detecting later in life. I enjoyed my freedom! I've bred and showed guinea pigs and bunny rabbits. I lived on a farm for 4 years and bred heritage breeds of chickens for conservation and showing. I started my own cake decorating business and ran that for 2 years right before I met my now husband. I volunteered as an ambulance officer. I used to do aged and disability care in the community.

I've spend about 15 years of my career working in office administration for local government, community care and SA government and was definitely needing to tap into my creative side with a complete change!

I'm an ambivert but more of an introvert and love Sudoku puzzles, puzzles, crafts, baking, sketching, photography, fine art, sweet wines, good food, restaurants, travel and new life experiences. I'm caring by nature and a little sensitive but won't show it, and a great listener! I love hiding behind the camera and seeing life through the camera lens, joining in at your memorable events yet remaining slightly unattached and definitely willing to have fun!

Weddings are the biggest driver in my photography career, especially after I finally got married to hubby Duane and had the personal experience of a professional photographer on our wedding day. I was already working on my dreams towards achieving a photography business. My own wedding day emphasised to me that weddings are super special, and all the emotion, anticipation, love care and support with everyone throughout the day is what I'm driven to capture and freeze still for my couples to revisit time and time again!

I love running my little business and having time to be with my young son and adult daughter throughout the week.

I've been fascinated with photography since I was a young girl, starting out with the 35mm Kodak film cameras and mostly taking photos of our special breeds show pets during show time!

I completed Cert 4 in Photography & Photo Imaging in 2020 and the Diploma of Photog in 2021 so you can be assured I have been professionally trained for your special photography needs and now have professional photographic experience since 2020.
